Kalopsia is a 4-piece prog rock band made up of Grant Gilmore, Kobe Tako, Johnathon Albritton, and Jack Kelly. Formed in Gainesville, Florida in March of 2026, their sound is a modern blend of alternative rock and math rock with pop punk energy. They aim to fuse the atmosphere of Tool, the theatricality of Muse, and the grit of Pearl Jam to create something both euphoric and restless.
The project's concept draws from its title, Kalopsia, and how the perspective of delusional beauty can be both a positive and a negative, depending on interpretation.
The band is currently in the studio recording their debut single 'Wicked Heart' and lining up shows for the fall and spring. Listen to the demo below.
